What you will be doing:
Project and Programme Delivery: Manage and coordinate delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams, including marine structures, berths and wharves, maritime services and utilities, and shiplift and dock infrastructure.
Integrated Planning and Controls: Maintain integrated schedules, cost forecasts and resource plans across workstreams, ensuring alignment with the NPSCY master programme.
Risk and Opportunity Management: Lead the identification, assessment and management of project risks, opportunities, dependencies and changes, including those relating to nuclear safety, licensing and assurance.
Stakeholder and Interface Management: Coordinate interfaces between maritime nuclear workstreams, nuclear safety, systems engineering, construction teams, technical leads and client stakeholders.
Nuclear Assurance and Governance: Embed robust nuclear project controls, configuration management and stage-gate assurance processes to support compliant and controlled project delivery.
Performance Reporting: Provide clear, timely reporting on progress, programme performance, risks, issues, dependencies and key decisions to senior project leadership.
Leadership and Coordination: Work closely with the Maritime Nuclear Lead and technical stream leads to maintain delivery alignment, resolve issues and drive progress across the portfolio.
Programme Integration: Ensure maritime delivery activities remain coordinated with wider programme objectives, technical requirements and key delivery milestones.
Formal qualifications or training:
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the nuclear sector.
At least 5 years’ project management experience, ideally within complex, highly regulated or safety-critical environments.
A proven track record of managing multiple concurrent workstreams or a programme of projects.
Strong understanding of nuclear safety cases, licensing requirements and nuclear assurance interfaces.
