Role summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control, Electrical & Instrumentation (CE&I) Engineer to join our nuclear consultancy team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for nuclear projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide innovative and safe engineering solutions.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of CE&I systems for nuclear projects.
- Develop engineering solutions for new-build, operational support, and decommissioning projects within the nuclear sector.
- Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and protective device coordination.
- Conduct instrumentation selection, configuration, and integration into nuclear plant systems.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements, industry codes (IEC, BS, IEEE, ONR, IAEA, etc.), and safety guidelines.
- Oversee and review CE&I specifications, schematics, drawings, reports, and calculations.
Formal qualifications or training:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it (IET or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 6 years' of experience in CE&I engineering.
- Nuclear experience
