DBD International have a new and unique position within our Mission Delivery capability. We're looking for a Principal Project Planner or Planning Manager to lead our expanding team. You will be responsible for the effective management, support and control of all project planning activities.

Role summary:

• Effective and dynamic management and control of all planning activities
• Providing support to project teams throughout project execution
• Responsible for strategic planning activities to ensure timely delivery and execution of all relevant projects across the business
• Works to avoid disruptions in project execution by supporting the management of capacity constraints across the backlog and forecast demand
• Responsible for the team serving organisation of 160+ staff and associates
• Defines planning and scheduling objectives and KPI’s for planners
• Ensures the implementation and improvement of company standards and procedures
• Contributes towards, maintaining and implementing corporate Management System objectives and procedures
• Supervised assigned areas of project scheduling
• Responsible for the development, alignment and standardisation of the planning function within the Mission Delivery team
• Meets performance goals for team in line with the capability/business strategy
• Works with management to implement and support policies, procedures and best practices for project planning in support of successful execution of projects
• Prepares/consolidates reports including consolidated milestones, schedule analyses, project controls, and resource planning as required
• Supports to bid process and negotiation of contractual documentation as required
  

Formal qualifications or training:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Relevant experience in Planning, Project Scheduling, Project Planning, Operations
• Relevant experience in Nuclear industry
• Primavera scheduling experience required
